I was born and raised in the East Bay area of San Francisco. First, in a little town called Albany, and at the age of 12 we moved out to Walnut Creek. Came up to Sac State and received my bachelor's degree in sociology, not completely sure if I was going into law enforcement or the ministry. My first choices for seminary were either Princeton or Fuller, but felt called to attend San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo. This time of study and reflection challenged the foundations of what I thought I believed and solidified my faith. I am deeply committed to preaching the word of God because I truly believe it contains transforming good news for all of humanity.
